	The house is a traditional ‘maison de village’, and the foundation dates back to medieval times. The interior of the house combines traditional style with modern amenities. Comfortable electric heating units are installed in every room, and the water is heated electrically.	Old tile floors and plaster walls give a very authentic feel to the house. It comprises four rooms and a bathroom -- the kitchen/dining room and bathroom downstairs, and the master bedroom, second bedroom and living room/den upstairs. It sleeps six to eight comfortably, on one queen bed, one double bed, a loft bed, and one double foldout sofa. The bathroom includes a shower, but no bath.	The main room downstairs features a traditional cheminee or mantle, over the wood stove (not currently functioning) and kitchen counter. A dining table and chairs, a couple of other chairs and a dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, modern gas stove and north american style refrigerator complete this room. The sink is made of stone, and is centuries old!
